Standard-modulus carbon constructions can be configured for loads above 350 kgf, while higher-modulus options are available when a project requires greater stiffness. Material selection should follow the product target rather than a single “best” material. Carbon fiber is suited to lightweight, stiff, performance-focused systems; fiberglass can provide a practical balance of durability and cost; G10 is useful for selected wings and structural components where machinability and impact resistance are important. We review the application, geometry, target weight, stiffness, volume, tooling budget, and retail position before recommending a construction.
